Stawell Run for Russ

Paul Russell (local council member and police officer),
 Di O’Donnell (Grampians Community Health),
Daniel Sos (Grampians Community Health),
Libby McMillan (Teacher Skene Stree Specialist School),
 Ryan Duffy (Parks Victoria),
Jordan Schampster (Skene St Student)
Kriss Ellis (Rural Access Worker)
Stawell (pronounced "staul") is the nearest town to the Grampians - birthplace, if you like, of the Australian TrailRider. Stawell was the scene of the Heart Challenge Run for Russ event last weekend. Once again a sponsored run with a TrailRider entry along with all the other "uprights"

The move toward a Volunteer Sherpa program is being very actively pursued at and around the Grampians by Kriss Ellis, the Stawell Rural Access worker who saw the run as an opportunity for people to see the TrailRider in action.

There is a core now of about a dozen potential sherpas in the area so when you call to book the chair ask them if there are any sherpas available.
