Grampians Park Headquarters
Most times we mention the Grampians here we are speaking of Halls Gap, toward the northern end of the 1600 square kilometer park. This is where the Park Headquarters are found at Brambuk and the Aboriginal Cultural Centre.

Picaninny is at the extreme south, near Dunkeld, and invites a whole different set of local neighbours, including Hamilton local Kyal Doneman.

Kyal Doneman and a flock of rangers
including David Roberts, head ranger
In September Parks Victoria rangers took Kyal out on the walk to the the Summit, a part of the Grampians Peaks Trail project.

The end result will have been a grading of that section of  and a flock the trail;according to the two, three or four sherpa ("operator") category defined in a previous post in March 2015.
